The Food Service module is designed to set up diet menus and meal cycles. The Food Services module can be used stand alone or by driven by the Clinical Nutrition module. The Clinical Nutrition EHR templates provide for assessment of the dietary needs of the patient and allow selection of available menus from the Food Service module. The Food Services module also tracks inventory for food items used with nutritional values and reports on needs for future meal preparation. Catering and special meals are also supported.
